DIY Shoes; Pt2. Black Studded Wedges.

I bought these newlook wedges in the sale as i thought they'd come in handy and were cheap, but the longer ive had them (unworn i will add) the more i realise i didnt actually like them!
The lattice on the front made them too loose for my foot, they werent as sleek as their suede sisters and to be honest they bored me, so i did something about it.

Before;

After 180 pins (FYI; couldnt feel my thumb for 3days after!)

And i decided i still hadnt done enough so got hold of some sissors;

Also while i'm here i highly suggest you buy Elle magazine (£3.80?) this month if you love shoes as much as me.
Theyre giving away a £20 gift card for Kurt Geiger that lasts 12months after activation!
Mine however im giving to my boyfriend so he can get money off my convereses for Christmas (may sound cheap, but it means i get more presents, genious if you ask me ;))

DIY shoes Pt1. Christmas Sparklers

Recently ive been diy'ing and customising a million and one of my pairs of heels so i thought id slowly but surely shows you them all. Ive tried to get pictures of before and after and some during.

Pair one; Silver Glitter Shoes.
I picked up a pair of gorgeous brand new silver newlook platforms from a charity shop a while ago but the silver was a tad dull, along these lines;

They need brightening up a tad while still being silver, so i grabbed glue and glitter.
Originally i used fine glitter but it didnt have quite the right affect.

So i eventually found some thick glitter and it covered beautifully!

(not as patchy as it looks, i promise)

They're beautiful and they sparkle amazingly in the light, especially party lights, perfect for Christmas.

With love,
Lauren,xo
